Gensan is known as the Tuna Capital of the Philippines, served by the biggest Fishport in the country. Come early 6am to see the huge tuna fishes caught being carried to the port, classified, and weighed, and moved to transport or storage facilities. A wonderful experience to see thousands of huge tuna landed daily, plus other marine produce from the seas.

A very lively marketplace and nice to see during the sunset. Educational place and excellent experience of visiting the port full of the famous tuna.

GENEral santos is well known at first because of WORLD CLASS TUNA. And first philippine agricultural factory DOLE Philippines. And the world FAMOUS BOXER MANNY PAQIAO
