This is where we locals go for coffee. The owner is indigenous, it's got an authentic northern vibe, and the coffee (JJ Bean) is just.so.good. The food items feature local fare - eg fish tacos, the fish fresh-caught from the Great Slave Lake. The fresh-baked cinnamon buns are divine

This is another great coffee shop to stop for a latte, cappuccino or a hot chocolate! Birchwood Coffee also has a northern flair to their food dishes such as bannock. Very tasty!
