Chapultepec Forest is a source and lung, a haven in the enormous metropolis, and a witness to the history of our city. It is also linked to the fantasies and childhood memories of all Mexico City residents. Chapultepec was walled since colonial times and was the scene of elegant soirées. It served as a seat for imperial and republican powers. Even today, on the outskirts of the first section, you can find the Presidential Residence and its guards. The area was the site of the Battle of Molino del Rey and the assault on the Military College, a cruel reminder of the American Intervention. Since then, the college has been preceded by the H that refers to its Heroic performance. The empire of Carlota and Maximiliano would lose its romantic tone if we couldn't peek into its gardens, rooms, and halls of the Castle, then used as the Imperial Palace. Today, it remains one of the most visited places by locals and visitors alike, attracting a very diverse audience. The first section concentrates important museums and cultural centers; it is a destination for humble Sunday strollers who visit, above all, the zoo. It is a place for recreation for children and young people, families and seniors. It is perfect for picnicking, reading a good book, biking, walking, meditating, being alone or with friends, our closest space to Mother Nature

A forest in the middle of the city; bigger than New York’s Central Park, Chapultepec is the lung of the city; There, you can have a great day visiting a few of the 12 museums in and around Chapultepec (there is also picnic areas, bicycle trails and even a zoo) El Restaurant de El Lago is a really fancy place to eat., Also enjoy the botanical gardens, amusement parks, lakes with boats for rent, quiet groves where couples set out picnics, statues with poetry, running paths and even a "quiet section" where people go for peace and there's no talking allowed. The park is 15 min away from the Co-Living walking
