This is another historic beach in Port Huron, Jan st a few miles south of Sandy Feet & newly renovated in 2016. There's a great little splash park for the little ones and a snack stand. There is a small fee for parking and using this beach.

The water is amazingly clean and refreshing. You can see freighters in the distance and it's not too crowded. It is friendly and there is no drinking. Seems like a great place for kids. There's the gravelly rock on the beach for the first few feet until you get into the water, then it's all sand, so some water shoes may be helpful for tender feet. However, it's not too deep, way out, so you can do a lot of swimming with ease. There is someone there renting floatable paddles and there is a concession stand with hot dogs and other food that is quite decent. Very nice place to go for a day.

Just down the road a couple miles from Lighthouse this is the main beach in Port Huron. It has brand new renovations such as a splash pad for smaller children.
