Located on the crest of the Cascade Range, we receive abundant and frequent snowfall. Cool air often drifts from the eastern slope of the range through the Stevens Pass area, keeping our snow relatively dry. Stevens is located on two national forests, the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie on the west side of the crest and the Wenatchee National Forest on the east.

Highly regard local ski/snowboard resort 1.5-2 hours out from Seattle. It's a great affordable option for intermediate to advanced ski/snowboarders.

Needless to say, Stevens Pass is one of the premier ski destinations in the Pacific Northwest! A few quick tips just to get ahead: -Be sure to book your tickets online to save money. -If you're planning on renting equipment, make a rental reservation equipment beforehand or you may be out of luck. There are a number of local shops in the area in addition to the rental shop on the mountain if they're booked out for your preferred dates already. -Be sure to consider their alpine center with cross country skiing and snowshoeing options along with their free family sledding area.
