The Moana Surfrider is the oldest hotel in Waikiki. The Banyan Veranda is a beautiful restaurant with a great menu, or you can dine more casually (or just sip a cocktail) outdoors at the Beach Bar under the banyan tree where there is live entertainment nightly.

Under the Banyan Tree...enjoy your drink by the ocean. Or get a terrific brunch some morning.

This event offers an amazing experience. It's a $5 admission yoga class that I love to go to. It's offered once a month during the week. It's set up in the lush green lawns of Moana Surfrider resort and spa and right by the ocean. You can hear the ocean and enjoy your yoga practice led by some of…

Meal Takeaway
“Humble looking place, top-recommended for authentic traditional Hawaiian food as served by locals for locals (they cater local parties, weddings, etc. too). Always 100% authentic, fresh, local favorite yummy items from the land & ocean. The line is never long, as they make most of their customers via their busy party-catering services (take-out too). Worth tolerating the humble old-school look of the restaurant that really has not been renovated in years, but you are there for the food, not the physical architecture. Keep in mind, they serve thousands of meals to parties, weddings, big family events, etc. per week, so they do not need to dress up their dining room really. Focus on their authentic Hawaiian food instead. They are real Hawaiians cooking for real Hawaiians and other locals (they have been around in the food business forever because they are ethical, real, good folks, the real deal at a fair price) :) ”

Restaurante
“Great BBQ chicken and beef but it is the sides (vegetables, potatoes, kimchi, etc.) that make this place really worth a visit. Some couples may be able to share one. ”
