this is an absolute beautiful day trip on boat and an amazing day out.the rock is famous with star wars featuring their recording on it.

Skellig Micheal is a magnificent rock jutting out of the Atlantic Ocean, hundreds of years ago, monks settled on the island and built a stone path of steps up to the top where they built beehive huts in which they lived. They led a hermetic life growing vegetables on the side of the rock and praying amongst the birds and the wild atlantic ocean. This really is a magnificent trip, however, only certain licensed boats are allowed to land on the rock and sue to Star Wars featuring it in their most recent film, it has become wildly popular and therefore I urge you to book you visit now! The climb is dangerous as the stones are old and uneven so its important to wear suitable footwear!
