I saw the most stunning exhibit on Pisa's involvement in World War One at Palazzo Blu. I learned a lot about the war from the extensive exhibit, complete the light effects and sound. And add to all this, it's completely free. Truly a wonderful resource for knowledge.

Known as Palazzo Giuli Rosselmini Gualandi it is today called Palazzo Blu because the restauration has brought up the original intense blue colour of the facade. Built between 1100 and 1500 it hosts frequently many contemporary and surrealistic exhibitions.
