It is essential to visit the Larco Museum in Lima since it has a large collection of archaeological pieces from ancient cultures, the Inca and the pre-Inca. Inside the museum there is a very elegant restaurant with some typical dishes and sometimes they do cultural presentations.

Probably the best museum in Lima. A fine selection and well curated exhibit. There is also a beautiful garden and restaurant, I suggest making a reservation a few days in advance.

Beautiful museum showcasing Incan & Pre-Incan civilizations' pottery. They have a beautiful garden and a restaurant that you can come to for dinner, lunch or afternoon tea/cocktails. Very relaxing and beautiful, peaceful atmosphere.
