Catching a show at Red Rocks is like nothing else! If you can't see a show, visit during their daytime hours to walk around, hike, or work out. Visit their website for schedules and upcomin events.
If you are able to see a show at Red Rocks, I highly recommend it! Even if you can't see a show while you're in town, it's worth going just to look around. You can hike or drive to the top. If you're there between 9am and 2pm, as long as there isn't a ticketed event happening, you can explore the venue for free. If you're into music be sure to see the Red Rocks hall of fame. Red Rocks is a great place to have a picnic lunch or dinner. If you're seeing a show at Red Rocks, you'll want to plan to get there early.

Best venue in the world in my opinion. There is nothing like seeing the twinkling city lights behind the stage during a show and hearing the acoustics bounce off the Red rocks! Might be worth looking at their website for last minute tickets. Also, many people use the stairs as a workout in the mornings when temps are a little bit cooler. There's also Saturday 'yoga on the rocks,' led by an instructor that is $17.
