Where we go to check out wildlife and enjoy long hikes! There are many "fingers" out on the lake to go fish or observe wildlife. The trail is about 3 miles around, if you take the "Bill's Trail" loop. There's also a playground for kids, and on Bill's Trail there is a magical family-friendly spot, with benches, a free library, and craft area.

Enjoy walking, jogging or cycling on the wide shared-use trails around the lake. Great sunset views. Separate mountain biking trails and skills areas.

Great place to take the family. Bike trails, hiking, playground and water views. Take bug spray with you!

We love to walk at the Lafayette Heritage Trail Park multiple times a week. It's only 9 minutes away from your Airbnb! The trail goes around the entire lake, and is for the most part, very well shaded. It's a beautiful spot to hike and enjoy nature.
