Spa town famous for its spring water, Opera House and Pavilion Gardens. Plenty of small independent shops, cafes, bars and restaurants to explore. Waitrose, Morrison’s, Aldi and Sainsbury’s supermarkets can all be found in Buxton.

Visit Buxton, a thermal spa town on the edge of the Peak District, famous for its mineral-rich water. Wander around the stunning ornamental gardens and world famous Georgian and Victorian architecture. The crescent has recently been restored and the opera House and theatre are worth a visit. The Buxton Crescent Experience is a perfect introduction to Buxton and The Peak District. Step inside the Grade 1 Listed Buxton Crescent and bring the rich spa heritage to life with virtual and interactive showcases. Tickets available online and from The Pump Room. Coffee and hand made chocolates are a treat just around the corner at Charlotte’s Chocolatier & Cafe. Just beyond the town centre is Poole’s Cavern, one of the finest show caves in England. Solomon’s Temple, also known as Grinlow Tower is situated in the hills above Buxton. It was constructed in 1896 with the support of the Duke of Devonshire, then restored in the 1980’s.

We are lucky to have Buxton opera house. Buxton has a great park and lots of shops.
