Mount Madonna park is a pretty drive up to the ridge above Watsonville, and is a nice place to ramble around and see the woods. There is a 1 mile loop that goes around the foundation of an early cattle baron's summer home.

my favorite local park. Beautiful forest and no crowds. You can park at the old Mt. Madonna Inn along highway 152 for free access to the park or just drive in and drop a few bucks for the park.

20 minute drive to another close by Gilroy favorite. Park includes the Miller Ranch Historic Ruins. Hiking trails are well maintained and can accommodate every level of hiker. More pictures to come!
