Our home is just 20 minutes from many ski resorts (Northstar, Palisades, and Homewood), only 5 minutes to the lake, and a 2-min walk to the national forest. Carnelian Bay is smack in the middle of Tahoe City and Kings Beach, offering you freedom and flexibility to take in so much of your North Lake Tahoe vacation. It's a life of leisure.

Indulge yourself in the winter wonderland at Lake Tahoe! 15 minutes drive to Palisades Tahoe (Squaw Valley/Alpine Meadow), 7 minutes to Homewood, 35 minutes to Northstar Resort. There are also nordic ski / snowshoeing trails in the vicinity of the property. You will be in the middle of the winter fun. Enjoy your stay at our quiet Homewood cabin on a small stream in an excellent location near walking/hiking/biking trails. Great for 2 couples with 1-bedroom downstairs (queen bed) & a loft upstairs w/queen bed & 2 futons. Enjoy coffee on 1 of the 2 two decks w/mountain views or sit by the cozy gas fireplace. Ski @ Homewood, Squaw or Alpine—the shuttles are nearby. A beach is at the bottom of the hill, & many popular restaurants & bars are nearby. We have hi speed wifi & a TV downstairs.

Nestled at the base of the mountain, this ski-in/ski-out resort offers easy access to the village and the lifts. Guests also have access to the hot tubs, laundry facility, fitness center, and family friendly activities. We offer ski lockers, sleds and snowshoes during winter. Summer amenities include bikes, beach chairs, coolers, and outdoor games. A resort fee of $35.00/night is included in the total price shown on Airbnb. This fee covers parking, Wi-Fi, and access to on-site amenities.

We have 3 queen beds suitable for 6 guests with the option for 2 additional guests to sleep on twin inflatable beds. Close to hiking trails and world-renowned ski resorts and shops and restaurants in Tahoe City.

This North Lake Tahoe lake view and dog friendly cabin is located in the Sierra Mountains off the TRT (Tahoe Rim Trail) in Tahoe City. This a 1970s classic A-Frame cabin has hardwood flooring, a stone gas fireplace with a built-in flat screen TV, and a Hot Springs Spa with Lake Tahoe views surrounded by the Sierra mountains. Please note if you are a group with multiple parties working remotely this is not an ideal cabin, as it is structurally not designed for privacy.
