Cozy cottage/villa on the golden circle

Great place for families and friends to enjoy in a peaceful environment while exploring the southern part of Iceland. The house is located in the middle of the golden circle close to Thingvellir and 50 minutes drive from Reykjavík. The house consists of three bedrooms, two on the ground floor and a large mezzanine floor with two beds. It can sleep up to 8 people. Just a 5 minute drive from kayak rental, a swimming pool and an Elf and Ghost house.

In the winter darkness, you might enjoy a view of the Northern lights, but on a cloudy evening, you can watch the 50" satellite TV. Fully equipped kitchen, small washing machine and a hot tub.

Gamla húsið is in Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga horse-farm, located in the south of Iceland, 35km -from Reykjavík in Ölfus and 3min. drive off Route 1. Perfect as either the starting point for an exploration of southern Iceland or as a base since it is close to the Golden Circle and a few hours drive to the glaciers and black sands of the south. Kirkjuferjuhjaleiga is a horse farm, on the banks of the salmon-rich Ölfusá river surrounded by beautiful landscape.

The Little House

The house is 25 square meters. standing absolutely alone on a one hectares plot of land. Small football field, trampoline and balcony. No one will disturb you, unless maybe sounds from the birds all around or the horses on next plot. The house is cozy and warm. Keep in mind that the main bed is 120cm wide.

Beautiful cabin in the South of Iceland. If you want to relax and enjoy the nature this is excellent choice. The Cabin is located at Litli Háls farm only 45 minutes from Reykjavik and 15 minutes from Selfoss. The scenery is so beautiful around the cabin, walking paths in the area and all around.
