This house was previously the village church. It was converted several years ago into a detached dwelling which is now available for you to use exclusively. ‘Bonny Strathyre’ is often nicknamed ‘the gateway to the Highlands’ and is an ideal location for ramblers, cyclists, hill walkers, folk touring Scotland, for those who just want time to relax and to ‘get away from it all’ or maybe just to spend quality time with friends/ family. The house can accommodates up to 8 people. Pets are welcome.

Short Term Let Licence No ST00306F A former blacksmiths workshop lovingly modernised to provide a bright and comfortable cottage. Located on the waters edge of Loch Katrine in the heart of the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen with washer/dryer, microwave, dishwasher etc. Linens are provided for your stay. For the 2026 season, we have a new hot tub and sauna available. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate a Sunday arrival or departure.

Lochs Achray and Venachar are within walking distance, spectacular Loch Katrine is just 10 minutes away by car while historic Stirling is within easy reach. Upstairs are two bright, ensuite bedrooms (one standard UK double, one king or twin). Downstairs is an open-plan living space, well-equipped kitchen and wet room.

The Stable is a ground floor semi detached studio cottage situated in a private 40 acre estate with panoramic views of the Lake of Menteith, private covered porch, gas barbecue, freesat TV, DVD player, docking station and White Company linen. We have a corporate membership of Forrest Hills Hotel and Spa (c12 minutes drive from the cottage) which allows our guests access to their swimming pool, steam room, sauna and Spa and billiards room at no cost apart from individual spa treatments).

Sleeping 12 Guests , you are a mere two minutes walk to the water’s edge of Loch Lomond. We have a large private garden with patio area , play area , fully equipped play house ,fire pit and BBQ. We also have table tennis for our guests to enjoy . Our fully equipped kitchen makes cooking for the whole family a breeze.
