Flotsam has two fabulous fully self-contained studios, right at the entrance to the Tasman Peninsula. Each has their own private surroundings and fantastic views. We are about 30 mins due east of Hobart Airport. It's ideal for one-night stays, but, if time permitting, treat yourself to a few days so you can explore this incredible area which is all within easy reach. The Studios are well-designed and modern, and have lovely touches which will make your stay very comfortable and special.

Using the shack as your base, no matter which direction you choose to venture, there’s an array of experiences and activities to explore, 20 min to Hobart Airport, 40 min to Hobart, gateway to Richmond, East Coast, Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula. Our cosy and humble cabin - an old pickers hut from the farm's previous life as an apple orchard - is located in the stunning Huon Valley, with views across the stunning Huon River to the snow capped mountains of the Southwest. You would be hard pressed to find a more peaceful outlook for your morning coffee or afternoon wine as you take in the open skies and the local wildlife. Just a few minutes from the charming village of Cygnet and its many great cafes and shops.

Experience the feeling of calm when you turn onto the winding private road that takes you to The Hide. Surrounded by forest, and set on the waterfront, the Hide provides an elegant refuge for couples. In a national park like setting and situated centrally, it is the perfect base for exploring popular Bruny Island. With so much to do on the property, as well as wider afield, we recommend a 2-3 night stay if you can fit it into your schedule.
