There are no cameras in the house or on the property. We are 5 minutes from Carolina's Treetop challenge. Charlotte is 1 hour away. Fifteen minutes to Morrow Mountain, Lake Tillery- Badin Lake, and Uwharrie recreational area. 8 miles to Dennis Vineyards. Asheboro Zoo is one hour. Each guest over one is an additional $15 per day per person—kids under 2 N/C. $10 per day per animal. PETS MUST BE CRATED WHEN HOME ALONE. Airbnb cannot add the correct pet fee; we will request it after booking.

This cozy home with two distinct living areas overlooks a wide expanse of water on Badin Lake. Enjoy exploring the lake by kayaking (kayaks provided) or by hiking the many trails in nearby Uwharrie Forest. A public boat launch is nearby so bring your boat or other water vehicles. Transport yourself back to a more peaceful era in this retro brick ranch on a wooded lot! Two large bedrooms share a hall bath. *Bathroom just renovated in 2025.* Period furniture was made in NC for that local touch. Mamaw’s kitchen has been stocked so you can do takeout or make a meal. Drink your coffee on the side porch looking out over the peaceful yard. Parking is a breeze since you have a two-car carport and driveway too. :) No smoking property, pets must be pre-approved

Create memories year after year at this quaint bungalow with deep water & a dock! Floaties & kayaks provided, nature preserve in the cove, fire pit, WFH setup & the best sunsets! This property is unique as it’s in Jacob’s Creek cove on LKT where boat and jet ski traffic is little to none. The cove also has a nature preserve where you’ll see wood ducks fly in, blue herons raise their chicks each year, ospreys hunt in the evening and you can kayak to see beavers!
