Every spacious room was completely updated in the spring of 2020. Renovation included sound minimizing walls, premium mattresses, new floors, and more! AC/Heating units and all new windows mean you can keep your room at exactly the right temperature whether it's sunny or snowing outside.

The West River House is a simple and affordable historic hotel in downtown Truckee - walking distance to bars, restaurants, and the river. It’s perfect for those looking to explore and relax without distractions. Although there is no TV, the free Wi-Fi is super fast. Smoking and pets are not permitted.

Our cozy queen studio cabins, #2-#5 are approximately 250 square-feet, max capacity 2. These studios feature a queen size bed, mini fridge, microwave, custom made cabinetry, seating area by the window, bathroom with shower/bathtub combination, closet, coffee service and hair dryer. Please include children in the total number of guests. No pets allowed in this room, no extra guests, non-smoking property.
