The cabin overlooks a quiet stretch of water, offering serene views from the porch and plenty of spots to just relax, sip coffee, or watch the wildlife pass by. Whether you are here to unwind, explore, or reconnect with nature this hidden gem will keep you tucked away with all of the comforts of home.

Tranquil cabin, incredible views Cordell Hull Lake & foothills of the mountains. Nashville is 1 hour away; Granville, TN & Wildwood Marina w/ restaurants are 5 minutes away where there is live music on weekends or karaoke here at the campground. Waterfalls are in the area too. Bring a kayak to launch at our boat launch, explore the lake, take a swim or go fishing (we sell worms in the office) then relax and make some s’mores while enjoying our beautiful sunsets over the lake through the hills.

Caretaker Cottage

Dixona, the historic home across Hwy 25 from the Caretaker Cottage, was built is 1787 by Tilman Dixon. Pres. Washington awarded Tilman a share of land for fighting in the Revolutionary War. He traveled by boat traversing rivers and creeks until he found the spring near the cottage. He built the only home in the area which became the first post office, tavern and court for the area. Today, the Caretaker Cottage embodies the simple accommodations of one who would look out for Dixona Farm.
