The perfect retreat for walking, relaxing or family getaway, with lounge (cosy wood-burner), dining kitchen, two en-suite bedrooms and large hallway with library/seating area. Braidholm is our home on Skye. It's a 19th century building, warm and cosy. Step in from the weather and hunker down in the comfy sofa in front of a log fire. The kitchen is cottage style, with everything you'd expect in a modern home. Two bedrooms upstairs (kingsize in one, twins in the other, all with Egyptian Cotton, 400 thread-count linen) with sea views . Two bathrooms upstairs (one ensuite), a toilet downstairs. Private garden plus parking for 2 cars. 300m from the centre of Portree.

The cabin is situated alongside but separate from the main house with it's own parking space and picnic table. We are quarter of a mile from the nearest road with spectacular views all around so very peaceful.

You are invited to stay at a newly renovated traditional crofters' cottage. The cottage is very well situated on the island for exploring all that Skye has to offer and also benefits from the attractions and facilities available in nearby Dunvegan. Beautiful views across Loch Bracadale and lovely walks from the cottage. The house is extremely cosy and full of art works and books.
