We are on the edge of Glen Duror with plenty of forest walks from your door or just relax and watch the Red Squirrels in the garden. Route 78 cycle path is nearby and many Munros are on the doorstep. HEAVEN IN THE HIGHLANDS .Stoney Cottage is a beautifully extended 1.5 storey traditional croft overlooking the River Snizort. Ideally located and just a 6 minute drive from Portree, the Capitol. We are central to all the must-see hotspots and only 20 mins to Uig for the ferry to other islands . The two upstairs Ensuite rooms have the most idyllic countryside views in the area, as does the breakfast room, which was the original croft, dated 1900's. It features the original coal fire.

Self contained , self check- in bright and spacious kingsize bedroom with own fridge and breakfast area. Guests have their own private access and entrance to the accommodation . A freshly prepared continental breakfast provided each day in your room including fresh fruit , granola, bread , smoked salmon , yogurt and fruit juice. This room is a twin room with a private shower room. The School House has views to Loch Snizort, is approximately 8 miles from Portree - Skyes capital, 13 miles to Dunvegan and the Castle and 14 miles to Uig. It is ideally situated for visiting the sites in the north of the Island, such as Fairy Glen, Kilted Rock and the Quiraing. We are happy to give advice on what to see on the beautiful Island!
