Having travelled extensively in a previous life and taken great pleasure in meeting people from all walks, I have specifically tried to make this wee cabin as comfortable as possible with the things that matter the most when you are travelling, a fabulous shower, an ultra comfortable bed and a lovely big TV, all the rest is a bonus and aimed at making your stay as stress free as possible. An ‘Amazing Spaces’ inspired shipping container conversion, set in a peaceful secluded wildlife friendly garden, at the foot of the Pennine hills. The container is a 5 minute walk from the picturesque Talkin village which has a friendly pub serving food. A woodburning stove (logs supplied) ensures the container stays cosy in all weathers. Am Fuaran Isle of Iona Am Fuaran is situated in Iona Village, beside the Argyll Hotel. Long ago Islanders had Summer houses where people stayed during the holiday season to allow guests to stay in their main residence. Am Fuaran was such a building which has had various tenants over the last few decades. It makes an ideal Summer Bothy. It is a tin building with a concrete floor and although not luxurious it is cosy. It is the perfect private space for a single person or couple.
