Our recommendations center on those spots which are unique to the area and focus on farm to table offerings.
Fantastic ambience, deck with fabulous view, great staff, locally grown and raised foods- just a great spot. Try the cornbread! Caveats: several guests have been disappointed in the risotto, and the catfish, which is their logo, is not only farmed, but , sad to say, is imported from Asia.

Closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so don't get your hopes up if your visit falls on these days :-) A cute, cozy, little upscale-ish spot with great farm-to-table fare. Reservations a good idea.

Closed Sundays and Mondays, fantastic breakfast, lunch and dinner spot for local, organic, home-made absolutely delicious food. Small store, very limited seating. Great for take-out, but there usually is a place to sit.

We love this place; it's a cidery AND an eatery. Menu is limited, but absolutely hyper local and delicious, heavy on the meat, cheese and bread, but also serve delicious salads, beans, and soups. The ciders are very finely crafted and also delicious, almost like champagne. The place itself is wonderful as a venue, beautifully done, and there is music on Friday nights, and u-pick fruits in season. What more could anyone ask?!
