Adorable Authentic Italian ice with a variety of fruit options. Incredibly delicious. Walk-up window. Highly recommend the mango. Take your italian ice over to palmer square and reflect on life.

This is right next to the Damen stop. The airbnb is right next to the California stop, so this is in between you and downtown, and worth hopping off the train for. Try the banana nutella donut.

Jenis is the most delicious ice cream I have ever had in my life. The lines will be VERY LONG but they are pretty quick, or you could go a little earlier in the day. This is across from Umami burger (also recommended, although you may die if you eat both at the same time). Wormhole coffee, home of many many nerds and strong wifi is across the street. As a cautionary note, the ice cream is like $6/serving but I promise it is worth it, especially the Brambleberry crisp.

Games + Idiots. Where everyone goes when they have no idea where to go. There is a food truck inside the bar. This is a massive bar. much people watching. Lots of pinball, pool tables, air hockey. Casual street art vibe.
