Service is usually good but multiple management turnover. About 2 miles northeast of house at 48th St and Indian School Rd.

Great food, brewery. Views of Camelback Mountain in the back outside patio area. Too cold for Phoenix winter. They leave the doors open during colder evenings for some reason. Good spot for warmer Spring and Autumn. Nothing extra special.

Go and order a flight of meade amd enjoy! Very good food and reasonably priced. About 1.5 miles northeast at about 43rd St and Indian School Rd. Look for two lit up tall palm trees on the south side of Indian School. Worth a try!

Walking/biking trail along the canal. Great views of Camelback Mountain. Enter at 56th St/Indian School Rd. Following the trail east of the neighborhood will take you to Downtown Scottsdale.

Take water, turn on your GPS location, and a walking stick if you have one. Recommend walking the trails at midday not before dusk (due to possible snakes laying on trail to soak in the heat before night fall) except Hole in the Rock because it is well-travelled.

A challenging hike up the inner Valley's 2nd highest peak. A grand view of the Valley. Difficult trail for the unconditioned. Another option is to park at the end of the road parking and hike the rolling trails. Moderate difficulty and well-worth the walk and scenery. Although this park is in the middle of the Valley, you'd never know it once in the middle of the park. Take water, charged phones, hats, and sunscreen.

Another option is to park at the end of the road parking and hike the rolling trails. Moderate difficulty and well-worth the walk and scenery. Although this park is in the middle of the Valley, you'd never know it once in the middle of the park. Take water, charged phones, hats, and sunscreen.
