Shoreditch isn't 'Quite' the location for a Shopping Mall per say, until that is. someone saw the potential of an alternative take-albeit on a smaller scale. He bought 50 disused shipping containers, lined up for the scrapyard, and ceremoniously deposited them adjacent to Shoreditch Station on a strip of wastland. His promise of unique individual entrpenarial stores materialised less than 3 weeks later for a Xmas run of 3 months. Due to its unique diversity,3 years later it continues to attract large numbers of locals and tourists alike. soaking up the atmosphere.

The herb garden being the most famous. The museum itself is dedicated to home interiors throughout the past 400 years. Even if that doesn't fill you with enthusiasm, its still worth a visit for its interiors, gardens and all day cafe.
