Lardo is, without a question, one of Mexico City's finest dining experiences. Because of this, it is always crowded -which kind of sucks- but it is also completely understandable. make reservations. Be prepared to wait considerably for a table. Some of the things on the menu could come as simple or even "common". But once they're touching your mouth, your mind will be changed immediately. Service is good, even though the place is always incredibly busy. In all, it is a highly recommendable Mexico City experience.

One of the best Japanese restaurants in the CDMX. You will not find chipotle nor tampico nor bullfighting chiles. The food is authentic Japanese with fresh ingredients (they have fish tanks). Highly recommend.

If you like pizza and you value home made Osteria 8 is the perfect place for you. Its forte is pizza, pasta and salads. Each of its products are 100% organic and, if that were not enough, handmade. In my opinion everything is very good, but do not just go for the pizza, the salads are also a very good option, it is super well served and the atmosphere is very nice. You can enjoy Osteria 8 from Tuesday to Saturday from 1 to 11 pm. If you are looking for a good place to go to enjoy a very good meal with your family I recommend them very much, do not let go.

Given that there are certain restaurants in Mexico that could appear on a worldwide list like the St. Pellegrino or something, in my opinion this is the best. The Chef is from Baja California Sur and maintains traditional cuisine of this State of the Republic, but of course with a very modern touch. Every dish they serve is something never before tested, they specialize in seafood and meats. If they are very "bed bugs" this is definitely not the place for you as the richest dishes are the marrow risotto and the pork jaw. But do not get carried away by the name, I do not lie, it is in my humble opinion the best restaurant in the city. In addition the wine selection is very fine and the wai

Generations and generations have heard of El Tizoncito. And although now has many locations in the capital and around the republic, there is no way to go to the original taqueria in the Countess. Campeche and Tamaulipas to be more precise. This place opened since 1966, being the first one already has "museum" quality, being very small in space compared to the numerous branches where the crowds can sit at large tables. But nostalgia and seasoning is not lost, Generally when I come here I simply order the order of tacos to the pastor with onions and coriander. A squeeze or two to the lemon, a quick vertical movement with the sauce and perhaps a "muececazo" to the salt shaker. And ready. But

Maque has become one of my favorite sins. Sin because it is expensive and because whenever I come is to eat at least two shells and some chilaquiles. Yummmm yummmm! But yes! Every calorie is worth it. The food in this whitish place is delicious, really, no matter what dish you order. You never disappoint. I recommend that if you come for breakfast. From the whole menu, the breakfasts are my favorite part. Of course, like most places I do not loose, Maque is petfriendly. The perfect starting point for a weekend in the company of your pet.

Come before 1 to avoid the long wait at this airy seafood haven, a power-lunch spot for the creative and celebrity sets since it opened in 1998 (there's often less of a wait for the casual outside tables). While the people-watching is prime, your attention will be on the food: start with giant, raw almejas chocolates ("chocolate" clams, for their shell color), then try the famed (and copied in every seafood joint in town) raw tuna tostadas, maybe some fish cooked al pastor, minced soft-shell crab para taquear (make-your-own tacos), or the huge butterflied pescado Contramar—and save room for dessert. Immense murals by world-famous Mexican artists dominate the top floors of this splendid white-marble palace, a concert hall and arts center commissioned by President Porfirio Díaz. Construction on the iconic building began in 1905 under Italian architect Adamo Boari, who favored neoclassical and art nouveau styles. Complications arose as the heavy marble shell sank into the spongy subsoil, and then the Mexican Revolution intervened. Architect Federico Mariscal eventually finished the interior in the 1930s, utilizing the more modern art deco style. On the 2nd floor are two early 1950s works by Rufino Tamayo: México de hoy (Mexico Today) and Nacimiento de la nacionalidad (Birth of Nationali

Before the Spaniards demolished it, the Teocalli of Tenochtitlán covered the site where the cathedral now stands, as well as the blocks to its north and east. It wasn’t until 1978, after electricity workers happened on an eight- tonne stone-disc carving of the Aztec goddess Coyolxauhqui, that the decision was taken to demolish colonial buildings and excavate the Templo Mayor.
