My favorite place in town with a market on saturdays (till 17.00) and mondaymorning (till 14.00) Line up for applepie at the corner of the Westerstraat and Noordermarket. Its definitely worth it!

It is a pleasure to discover "the other side" of Amsterdam. Taking the Ferry (runs 24 hours at no fee) is already worth the pleasure. Eye has a wonderful terrace with splendid views on the old town.
