Arts & Culture

It's one of my favorite art places in Paris because they do have a lot of contemporary art. It brings all together living arts such as music, dance, drama, and has a large area for exhibition (often either street art or contemporary).

Getting Around

Denfert-Rochereau is just five minutes away from the apartment. You can access Metro Line 6 and 4 and RER B from there. Tip : if you are taking line 4, I recommend using the entrance by Rue Daguerre while if you are taking line 6 it is faster to use the entrance in front of the Catacombes (by the Lion statue).

I love Vélib'! It's my favorite transportation mode in the city because it's quite eco-friendly, it's very cheap and it's an amazing way to discover the city while exercising. If you are considering using it during your stay, this station is the closest to my apartment. You can take a subscription for 1 day (1.70 €), 1 week (8 €) or 1 year (29 to 39€), either at the station or online. Once you have subscribed you can use a bike for free during the 1st 30mns (or 45 depending on your plan). There are Vélib' stations everywhere in Paris so you can pick-up a bike and drop it wherever you like. Learn more about Vélib' here: http://www.velib.paris/

Entertainment & Activities

I love this place. It's both a social and cultural place where you can either just hang out, meet new people, learn about a hand-craft activity or drink wine or beer while enjoying some music.
