We love going to Manos! Not only is it only a few steps from the apartment but the food is consistently good and the service quick. Their menu is small and has a Mediterranean influence. We recommend that you go early as it fills up really quickly Sit on the veranda and watch the people bustle by!

Definitely one of my favorite spots for ramen & poke bowls. They have a small menu and last time I checked they were still waiting for a alcohol license so we could take our own. Only seats around 38 people so if you don't go early you might have to wait for a table.

Well worth the visit if you are a coffee lover! Decorated in steampunk style with waiters wearing quirky gear. They have won international awards with their brews! Although they lean towards a pricier menu its a great place to go.

If you like sushi and don't mind taking a short drive/Uber out to Claremont (20 or so min from Greenpoint) then we really recommend that you give Salushi a try. Call them to make a booking and check when they running specials from their menu.

The front door often has a queue of people waiting to get in so we suggest you get there before the rush hour at lunch or dinner. Note that they are on the pricey end though.

We loved our visit to Lily's for breakfast. Eggs benedict was delicious and the service was good. The restaurant has a unique & modern menu and is decorated with crisp finishes. Weekends are busy so try to get their a little earlier.

Drinking & driving in SA is a criminal offence so rather make use of this fast taxi service and enjoy getting around safely. Destinations in the nearby area are generally under ZAR50 so not only is it cheap but it allows you to do a little sightseeing along the way!

Take a long walk along the Sea Point Promenade. The ocean side views are spectacular and if you work up a thirst you can pop into one of the many cafe's along the way!
