The legendary road to Hana is only 31 miles from our location; however, the drive can take anywhere from one and a half to three hours to complete since it's fraught with narrow one-lane bridges, hairpin turns & incredible island views. It’s important to exercise caution and take your time. Stop and visit Waiʻānapanapa State Park ($10 entrance fee. Make reservations) or closer to Hana, hike the Pipiwai Trail through a dense bamboo forest to emerge at the stunning 400 foot towering Waimoku Falls.
