Opened in 2007 this blink-and-you'll-miss-it treasure trove is nestled in the heart of Balmain's Darling Street. The contemporary French inspired patisserie showcases some of the most luscious and inventive cakes. The Balmain patisserie also houses their colourful range of Zumbarons, as well as an extensive selection of freshly baked artisan breads and pastries. Get in early as there is only so much this tiny little treasure can hold!

Built in the early 1880's Dawn Fraser Baths is the oldest pool in Australia and home to both the Balmain Water Polo and Swimming clubs. Both are the oldest of their kind and operate weekly through the season. The baths is a tidal flow salt water harbour pool. At low tide there is a beach for children to build sandcastles. The kiosk serves hot food, snacks and ice creams. The season commences the start of Daylight Saving (October) to the end of Daylight Saving (April).
