Have you tried NY style pizza? Chicago? Well you might not have heard of New Haven style pizza. That's right, Connecticut has it's own pizza style, and it's fantastic. I've been to Italy and this is very close to how they make it over there. Delicious antique Coal oven bakes the pies at 800+ degrees.

Delicious Wood fired pizza. They have Gluten free crust available too and it's so good. My favorite is the spinach pizza. Pizzas are pretty reasonably priced.

Sightseeing
Beautiful view. Come watch the sunset at the top of the hill. This is the tallest point for miles, and it is beautiful! You'll get an areal view of the old down town and you can see all the way to Massachusetts. Also WWI memorial tower is lovely. On the weekend they sometimes open it so you can walk up. Free to go, and easily walkable from the house.

Beautiful park, peaceful, a few small waterfalls. Hiking trails, pond for swimming (in the summer). Beautiful place for a picnic. Free to go.

Huge bar. Friday and Saturday nights are the big days. Arrive around 10 or 11 PM and it's getting pretty good! There's 3 bars inside, and even an additional attached country bar, and a restaurant. Live DJ's are great.
