These are great markets with plenty of yummy food, local delights and arts & crafts on offer. They are held every Sunday morning and one of the best markets in Darwin. A point of difference from the Mindil Beach Market, this is a must see!!!

Rapid Creek Markets are more for locals than tourists, but are a nice way to spend the morning and to buy fresh local produce and yummy Asian foods. I recommend walking from the apartment - parking can be a nightmare.

I haven't been there myself, but I hear that Flip Out is fun for families. I believe it is a centre filled with trampolines and foam pits. Sounds like fun for the brave!

It is located only 3.6km from my apartment and can be accessed by public transport (bus), or is a very short drive if you have access to a car.

The Motor Vehicle Enthusiasts Club (MVEC) is housed in the old QANTAS Hanger in Parap. There are a number of historic vehicles available to view here, as well as a huge collection of parts and machinery collected from remote areas in the NT and restored by club members.
