This park is listed on the Historic National Landmark. The original Victorian gazebos are located throughout the park, and there is a great little hideout on the northeast end of the park- a heavily wooded spot with a neighboring prairie grass restoration. There is also a great Farmer's Market on Saturdays as well as great festivals throughout the year.

They have great live music on Wednesdays evenings in the summer where people bring elaborate picnics and hang out in this stunning set. In the fall there is the Best of Missouri Market and the Shaw Art Fair on Flora Avenue next door.
