Fra landjorda får vi de herligste urter som gjennom lange,
lyse sommernetter utvikler en smak og aroma av de sjeldne.
Av Lofotens kjøttproduksjon setter vi i særdeles grad pris på lofotlammet som beiter
på saltstenkt gress nede i fjæresteinene og saftige urter langt oppe i fjellsidene.

I tillegg til å nyte god mat hos oss, er restauranten også et utstillingsvindu for svært dyktige lokale kunstnere.
Kortreiste opplevelser for nær og langveisfarende kan vel være nokså dekkende for hva vi står for.

Where the Norwegian sea grinds stone into beautiful sculptures, where the midnight sun colors the landscape in warm hues . In 1976 Åsvar Tangrand started with glassblowing , as the first in Northern Norway . Today the glassblowing take place in Glasshytta, a beautiful building in the middle of the magnificent scenery.

The museum provides an insight into the production of Norway's oldest export commodity, stockfish, which was used in foreign trade as early as in the 800s. The museum also shows how work at a conventional fish landing station is carried out.
