A playground, a great expanse of green grass and our iconic Camel's back chute. Definitely climb to the top of Camel'sback the view is amazing. I recommend going to the right of the steep main section of the hill. You will encounter some steps. UP and down the main straight shoot is challenging!

In the summer head to this park to rent a boat, tube or bring your own inflatable to float the river. You and your vessel get out at Ann Morrison Park and take a bus back to Barber Park. Takes around an hour to float but is based on how much water is flowing.

This is our local beach! Sand and you can rent a Stand up Paddle board or kayak at River Sports right there. This adjoins to the greenbelt and has a nice walking loop. Opposite Quinn's pond is a series man made ponds for swimming and Kayaking. T

Take a left on to Harrison Blvd and go straight (and zigzagging) until you run out of road. That brings you to Bogus Basin Ski area, and lodge. Depending on the time of year you'll get outdoor music, skiing, mountain biking, mountain roller coaster. Even if you don't ski, drive up for the fresh air and view, gorgeous drive and view from the top. Grab a burger and beer at the lodge and sit outside at the firepits. Our crisp dry air and sunshine is wonderful. Don't sit to long with out sunscreen though.
