A beautiful restaurant located in Frankendael park. They grow most of their vegetables themselves and serve them in the most amazing ways. A little bit more expensive, but definitely worth it or if you have something to celebrate

'Forest' Amsterdam style, meaning very small to be called a forest. Go for a walk or run, look at the rowing tournaments on most weekends, have a Dutch pancake or go pet some baby goats, whatever you are in for ;)

Also possibly the best place to get some good deals on fruit, veg, fish and nuts. Generally something to see, walk around, hear market people yell in Dutch and meet all kinds of people and you can buy less standard souvenirs as well.
