There is a really nice Pizza, Coffe, Breakfast place on Rio Nilo 90, one block from Angel de la independencia. They serve mainly italian, argentine cuisine, have good coffee and variety of pizza.

There is an economic restaurent other of Cafe la Habana in Morelos Street. They serve complete Meals (comida corrida) for 55 Pesos, when I passed there last time.

Getting Around

There is a bike shop just next street (compare my pictures, its not that one in Jalapa) They told me to have 2 bikes for rent at 200 pesos a day. It might be easier then going to official Ecobici Process, where you have to leave a deposit.

If you are user of uber, it should never take more then 7 minutes to have on of this taxis in front of the door. Same goes for Yaxi, Cabify, Mytaxi etc.

If you stay a little longer or meet some of their info-terminals on Reforma street, Ecobici is the fastest way to get around town. Also each sunday, many streets are closed for bikes only until 14h (The event is called cicloton), so this would be ideal day to explore the city by bike.
