De Markthal (market hall). On Tuesday and Saturday there is open market where you can buy cheap fruits and
vegetables. Inside the markthal you can buy fruits, cheese and food every day. The price is higher than at the
open market. There are many shops inside the Martkhal, and a supermarket (Albert Hein).
The Markthal (English: Market Hall) is a residential and office building with a market hall underneath, located in
Rotterdam. The building was opened on October 1, 2014, by Queen Máxima of the Netherlands. Besides the large
market hall, the complex houses 228 apartments, 4600 m2 retail space, 1600 m2 horeca and an underground 4-
storey parking garage with a capacity of 1200+ cars.

Characteristic of the Kralingse Bos is the location around the Kralingse Plas. The area is approximately 200 hectares and is bordered by the Kralingse Plaslaan, the Kralingseweg, the Bosdreef and the Boszoom. Half of the surface consists of water, the other half consists of forest and grassland. Some restaurants and two windmills lie along the lake. There is a sailing harbor and athletic fields are located around the Lange Pad. The recreational beach is crowded in the summer.
In the forest there is a deer park, several pancake houses, a petting zoo, a climbing forest, a golf course, a jogging track and a horse riding school.
