Its garden, located at 5939 Beechwood Ave, is a registered wildlife habitat site and is planted with over 60 species of native Indiana wildflowers, ferns, and grasses. "It's mind-blowing to think the Kile was around when Peter Minuit paid $24 to Native Americans for the island of Manhattan, when Ben Franklin discovered electricity, when Louisa May Alcott wrote "Little Women."
