The UT Gardens are great to visit for a walk, picnic or even one of the educational events that they host throughout the year.

Since 1944 the incredible Foothills Parkway has been under construction to connect the western US Highway 129 to the eastern Interstate 40 in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. As recently as 2018, The Missing Link of the parkway was finally completed. The drive is considered one of the most beautiful in the country.
