Petey’s is among our favorite spots in Ft Myers! Super casual tree house feel. Great cocktails, live music, and happy hour menu. We go here every time we are in Ft Myers because it truly makes us feel like we are on vacation. Open air with second floor views of the inner coastal and the best pizza on the beach!

The DiamondHead Hotel is home to a great restaurant called Coste’. If you’re celebrating an anniversary, or you’re wife just wants to wear her favorite dress and heels, this is the place. Don’t worry gentlemen, you can still wear shorts. Great chef created menu set right above the sand of Ft Myers Beach. The views are incredible and so is the food! Stroll the beach at sunset after an amazing dinner! Save this one for date night and enjoy!

If you have rented a boat (which we highly recommend!), you cannot beat Lover’s Key State Park. Easy to navigate to from the house. Just south of Ft Myers Beach. Here you will find an awesome sand bar frequented by the locals. Awesome beach as well. Pack a picnic in a cooler and head down for an awesome day!

Dara and I fully enjoyed our tour of this beautiful property which features both Thomas Edison and Henry Ford’s summer homes right on the river. Tour the garage of Ford as well as the Laboratory of Edison.

Rent a car! Take the trolley!Definitely rent a boat!!!
The house is a short 20 minute Uber ride from the airport. Most guests rent cars which is good way to get around. Trolley to the beach from the entrance to our neighborhood just outside Beach Pottery. For those of you who take the opportunity to rent a boat (pontoons are a great choice), you will really be able to experience the true awesomeness of our location!!! We highly recommend a boat, even if only for a day. Best access to beaches, restaurants and cooler air! Really easy, even if you’ve never driven a boat! You’ll find boat rental flyers behind the couch. Enjoy!
