Ithaca Area Hiking, Waterfalls (Cayuga Lake)
"Ithaca is Gorges!"
There are so many options in our area for hiking, all with the bonus of waterfalls! Some are State Parks, make sure to bring cash for entry. Fees are $9/car and are collected 6am - 6:30pm, daily. One time fee gets you in to all State Parks for the rest of the day.
Cornell Botanic Gardens, Cascadilla Gorge Trail, Ithaca Falls, Stewart Park and Sweedler & Thayer Preserves are FREE to the public!
Bring lunch, swim in the lower falls. Weekdays are typically best. Hike to Lucifer Falls.
