A Croatian design shop, highly recommended by my fashion-conscious friends. Dboxx (Petrinjska, very close to the flat) is another one. All designed and made locally.
Another thing I would recommend highly is Mini Industry - gorgeous etno-inspired, unique handmade jewellery. I never leave Croatia without buying something there. You'll need to contact Mini Industry via Facebook for instructions on getting there (https://www.facebook.com/MiniIndustry/?fref=ts). It is very central.

Top of the Medvednica mountain; you can hike or drive there. Some cycle, though for a recreational cyclist this seems quite extreme. There are a few restaurants at the top, and skiing is also available in winter. Do have some mulled wine when there.
