Great reserve just 30 minutes drive away and accessed by car (despite being an island!). Beautiful safe beach with large grass reserve behind with gas and wood bbq's available. Wooded areas with trees to climb and adventures to be had.There are also bike tracks and at the north end of the island you can catch a ferry over to Mapua for an ice-cream, beer or lunch too.

A mountain bike loop track that takes you high up into the hills. Starting just across the road from where you will stay. Its about 38km long and suitable for most mountain bike riders.
