Neighborhoods
Faubourg Delachaise is a very walkable neighborhood and close to the action on both Freret and Magazine Streets. The area offers all kinds of activities with shops, restaurants, grocery stores, coffee shops, music venues, and bars. There is even public clay-court tennis at the Atkinson-Stern Tennis Center.
Delachaise is a strong residential neighborhood within walking distance of multiple commercial corridors, and has a diverse community which reflects our city. This is a neighborhood where people walk their dogs and stop to talk to one another, then head to one of the many bars and restaurants for cocktails, dinner, or to hear music or catch a game.
