Best beaches near The Splash Pad
Awesome hiking trails that lead to the beach! This is the closest beach to the Splash Pad. 2.5 miles of shoreline to explore, this will be the least busy beach most likely. Shortest hike is about 3/4 mile to get to the beach. Or you can hike the trails through the dunes for miles!

Great little local beach, lots of stairs that bring you from the parking lot up, over, and down a large dune to get to the beach!

Activities
This is such a fun thing to do, we love going before or after dinner. Most of their cute boats are 2-4 seater retro electric boats (they go super slow). You just cruise up and down the river (you can not go on Lake Michigan with them). But it’s relaxing and fun. The donut boat is great for groups. They also have Duffy boats and pontoons that can fit 10-16 people. They even provide you with a cooler!

This is about a 1/2 mile down the road! Guardian has surprisingly good beers and great food! If you need something easy, and delicious, this is a no brainer! They have an awesome patio also!

This hard cider spot is a little way away (15ish minutes). But it’s a great spot with a ton of outdoor seating and flights of cider. This is right next to Modales Winery. So why not make a second stop!

This is our favorite winery in the area! Very cute on the inside and close to all the others if you want to do an afternoon of wine tasting!

This is a cool spot for a casual lunch/dinner/drinks. It’s located along the river and you watch the boats roll in and out of the marina. They have TVs if you are looking to catch the big game also!

The locals favorite! Great food, great vibe, somewhat difficult to get into because they do not accept reservations. But it’s worth the wait if you can find a spot!

The best steakhouse in West Michigan, in our opinion. This place is tiny, try to sit downstairs if possible (the upstairs is a little lame) it’s lively and cozy and has amazing food. Be prepared to spend at least $50/person.
