Things to do
Only 12 minutes away from the cabin, Snow Summit is the best mountain for skiers. We're big fans of their Adventure School for children.

+ Consider getting there early or allow for time to find parking, during high season spots are hard to come by. **

It's a great park with lots of attractions and facilities including a large bandstand, restrooms, huge dock for fishing or gazing and the view is spectacular. There is parking, but it's hard to grab a spot due to it's popularity.
You can also rent Kayaks. Equipment is on wheels. You roll them yourself 100 yards into the park and onto the shoreline.
